For some Naivasha residents, it was Christmas-come-early yesterday after a Western Kenya bound vehicle knocked down four buffaloes near the Naivasha G.K prison. Locals could be seen walking away with chunks of buffalo meat but Naivasha district Public Health officer Mr Samuel Kingori issued a warning against consumption of the un-inspected meat. "We have launched an operation to make sure the meat is not sold in food joints around this town,” he said. According to Naivasha OCPD Charles Kortok, no-one was injured in the 2am accident but passengers lost their belongings after they were looted.
