A Migori senator aspirant wants people with disabilities to be given equal opportunity to vie for elective posts. Polycarp Ating’a said disabled paspirants have been discriminated against by their opponents and voters. Ating’a, who is disabled, was speaking at Ranen centre in Awendo district. “Even though the constitution created a place for people with disabilities in the county assembly there is no need to thwart our efforts when trying to be at the rightful place in the society,” he said.
