Justice minister Eugene Wamalwa's New Ford-Kenya party offices in Nyanza have been closed. The Political Parties Act requires all registered parties to open at least an office in half of the 47 counties. Party’s said the offices have been shut down due to rent arrears. “Our offices in Siaya, Homabay, Migori and Kisumu counties have been closed down for rent arrears amounting to merely Sh100,000 which is quite unfortunate for the party,” said acting director of elections Audi Ogada yesterday.
