Herders find bomb at park

Herders stumbled on a colonial bomb at the Hellsgate National park in Naivasha. Peter ole Sinkai said they found a metallic object while grazing their animals and they informed KWS officers who were patrolling the area. Naivasha deputy police boss said military personnel at the nearby Gilgil barracks detonated the bomb. “This is a colonial bomb and we suspect it was dropped during the World War II," he said.
