A Narok governor aspirant has assured the Kalenjin community that he will safeguard their interests. Daniel Kiptunen said all the communities in the vast county will be treated equally regardless of their ethnic or racial background. Kiptunen said he will correct the injustices some communities have been subjected to if he is elected. Kiptunen was speaking yesterday when he addressed a series of rallies in Kilgoris. On Tuesday, the Kalenjin elders, through their local secretary George Ruto, said they will support a governor who will promote a fair and equitable distribution of resources.
