Local tourists flock Taita Taveta hotels

TOURISM activities in Taita Taveta are in top gear as tourists flock the region during this festive season. Taita Hills and Sarova Saltlick hotels manager Willy Mwadilo said majority of guests are local tourists. "About 60 per cent bookings have been done by local tourists while 40 per cent by foreigners," he said. He said that they expect hotels to be fully booked by next week since they are still receiving bookings.
