Meru County Commissioner Chege Mwangi has urged headteachers to familiarise with the new Education Act. He advised them to buy several copies and place them in staff rooms. Speaking at Kaaga Girls, Mwangi said this will ensure all teachers get to know about the changes taking place in the sector and improve their performance, motivation and achievements. He urged parents to use the money freed up by free primary education to finance other education projects.
