A robber was yesterday lynched after stealing money from an Embu petrol station. The suspect was pulled down from a mango tree where he had hidden after he and his colleagues stole from Paruma Petrol station in Embu town along Embu Kirinyaga road using a motorcycle and a saloon car. Embu District Commissioner Daniel Obudo said a group of robbers invaded the station at around noon. The DC said the robbers who were armed with a pistol struck the station and stole Sh500,000 before they sped off in a gate-away car and a motorcyecle.
