THE High Court yesterday stopped the President from de-gazetting Justice Muga Apondi until a petition he has filed is heard. The court also ruled that the status enjoyed by Apondi as a High Court judge and the benefits that comes with the office should not be interfered with until the case is determined. Apondi, through his lawyer Jeremmy Okonjo, yesterday informed the court that his salary has already been stopped by the Judicial Service Commission.
