E-publishing is a very competitive and lucrative business in the developed world. However, in most developing countries, it is still lagging behind print publishing. In Kenya, the shift from paper to electronic is surely happening, although at a slow rate. However, the recent promise by President Uhuru to provide free laptops to Standard One pupils may change this.
