Court Invalidates Kirima's wills

The High Court has invalidated two wills by the late tycoon Gershom Kirima. The first will was drafted in Nairobi and favour’s the former Starehe MPs third wife Teresia Wairimu. The second will is said to have been prepared by Kirima in London in 2010 and favours his children. Justice Isaac Lenaola said that Kirima was too ill to have prepared the wills. The will drafted in Nairobi has eighteen pages each signed by the late Kirima but has no witnesses. The court said it can therefore not ascertain whether Kirima truly prepared the will.
