THE Wiper Democratic Party has denied reports that former Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka is in the race for the Makueni Senate seat. The Star ran a story yesterday saying Kalonzo is under pressure to run for the seat left vacant following the death of Mutula Kilonzo in March. The story stated that there is a 50-50 chance that Kalonzo will contest if the Mutula family opts out of the race. Addressing the media at KICC in Nairobi yesterday, party chairman David Musila denied the reports.
