A man is recovering at Kerugoya District Hospital after he was rescued by the police from a mob. James Murage, 30, allegedly killed a 69-year-old man at Kagio town on Wednesday morning. The crowd chased after him, beat him up and were preparing to set him on fire when the police showed up. Police boss John Kamau said they have not established the motive of the killing. He said Murage will be taken to court when he is discharged from the hospital. The body was taken to Kibugi funeral home.
