THE Shela ward representative has told the government that an alternative electricity provider will improve power supply. Mwathethe Kadenge said monopoly has led to poor quality and high bills. Speaking to the Star outside Kilifi County Assembly yesterday, Mwathethe said a private power provider will enhance competitiveness. “When we had Telkom Kenya as the sole communication provider, there were very high bills and poor services.
