The introduction of traffic rules has seen the number of accidents on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway drop by more than 50 per cent. With drivers getting a fine of Sh20,000 for speeding, many have learnt the hard way and hence the drop in the number of accidents. Naivasha deputy OCPD Paul Korir said the fines meted on undisciplined drivers has played a part in the drop.
