Congolese denies having fake dollars

A Congolese national was yesterday charged with possessing fake money. Ngaha Ferdinand ,35, was arrested at the Honey Pot bar in Ongata Rongai on Tuesday. He was found with $179,000 (Sh15.5 million). Ferdinand had 179 fake 100 dollar notes . He denied the charges before Kibera resident magistrate Agnes Mwangi and asked the court to grant him favorable bail terms. Ferdinanad told Mwangi that he is innocent and has never committed such a crime.
