<<FOOTBALL>> Kenya’s oldest andmain knock-out tournament is rebranded The Football Kenya Federation knock out trophy has been rebranded following a five-year sponsorship from GOtv. The tournament formerly known as the Moi Golden Cup and Presidents Cup will now be known as the GOtv Shield. The tournament which was first played in 1956 as FA Cup of Kenya and won by Mombasa’s Liverpool (Mwenge FC) have in the recent past been snubbed by top local clubs especially from the Kenyan Premier League who regarded it as a distraction due to its lack of monetary benefits.
