Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo yesterday assured officers of support. Kimaiyo said no officer will be victimised as they carry out an operation to recover nine firearms stolen from the police in September. “Yesterday, we gave firm instructional orders that before the end of seven days, we want those firearms back,” he said. The firearms were stolen from police who were attacked and killed at the height of the Tana clashes in August and September.
