A rally organised by Fisheries Development minister Amason Kingi at the Rea Vipingo Grounds was on Monday disrupted after a snake crawled into the main dais. The incident, which occurred at around 3pm, forced all the guests seated at the dais, including the minister and retired Justice Stewart Madzayo, to run for safety. Others got on top of the tables as the crowd tried to kill the serpent. The snake appeared from the crowd and made its way into the dais as efforts by the crowd to kill it bore no fruits.
