Murang'a elderly dying of hunger, cold - women's rep

MURANG’A county women’s representative Wanjiru Chege is worried by the deaths of elderly people in the county. Chege said cold, hunger and negligence are the main causes of death. Speaking in Gatanga yesterday where she donated 800 blankets to the elderly, the women’s representative said the old people, especially freedom fighters, are languishing in poverty. “The elderly in our community are dying of hunger and cold.
