The attempt by Turkana North MP John Munyes to block his prosecution has failed after justice Githua rejected his application to stop his arrest. The Labour minister had filed an application to block his prosecution on charges of incitement to violence following his utterance on the killing of 42 police officers in Baragoi. Last week Munyes addressed a press conference in the parliament buildings saying that the killing of the 42 police officers in Suguta valley was in self-defense from a “state-sponsored attack”...
