Boda boda operators in Rongo town yesterday protested against the increase of operating charges from Sh80 to Sh100. “We were not given enough notice. The charges differ at different points when entering or leaving the market,” Henry Ochieng Osodo, the operators' chairman said. The riders went to seek audience from Rongo town administrator Mark Alila who told them the increase cuts across the county.
