A racket involving sale of government mosquito nets has been unearthed at the Malaba border. Journalists yesterday stormed a leading supermarket in the town where they found mosquito nets to the public health ministry being sold. An employee of the supermarket said they bought the nets from Tanzania at Sh50. They selling them at Sh200. Hawkers in the town were also selling the nets. One of them admitted they belonged to the government and they were in business of earning profits.
