AN inmate committed suicide on Monday by hanging himself inside the Siaya police station cells. According to the OCS Erastus Muturi, the 25-year-old man was arrested by police on Sunday allegedly for defiling a 14-year-old minor at Randago. He said the man waylay the girl on Friday evening, defiled her repeatedly then left her by the roadside. The girl informed her parents who reported the matter to the police and the man was arrested.
