A Meru court has sentenced a woman to hang for the murder of her friend in Buuri, Meru county. The two had disagreed over ownership of onions. Justice Lessit Wanjiku said Elizabeth Kambura was guilty of murdering Boniface Mwangi Maina on November 21, 2010 at 9 pm by stabbing him and then burning him by setting his house on fire.
