Forest service says Mau remains safe

The Kenya Forest Service has denied claims that Mau forest is in danger. Reginald Commandant Osborn Ndunde said the forest has instead regained its former states of good forest area cover. He said the KFS has been able to fight deforestation in Mau forest. “We are very happy to see Mau complex has regained its beautiful nature,” Ndunde said.
