Musalia Mudavadi’s United Democratic Forum (UDF) party has today officially decamped from the Jubilee Alliance, a coalition it had formed with The National Alliance (TNA) under Uhuru Kenyatta, and United Republican Party (URP) under William Ruto. The exit of UDF from the Jubilee Alliance was occasioned by disagreement between Uhuru and Mudavadi over a pre-election pact that had stipulated that Kenyatta would step down from the presidential race in favour of Mudavadi.
