Sh300,000 for Ruiru roads

The Ng’ang’a King’ara Foundation has used over Sh300,000 putting culverts along feeder roads leading to various schools in Ruiru. Speaking to the press yesterday, CEO Simon King’ara said the project was started after the realisation that many school children will find it difficult to access their schools due to damaged roads as a result of the ongoing heavy rains. He called on the business community to supplement government efforts in the provision of infrastructure. The culverts were erected in Kwa Njenga at Kahawa Wendani, Matopeni and Gatang’ora in Ruiru.
