Mombasa county should focus on increasing its own revenue instead of asking for more money, the Commission on Revenue Allocation has said. Speaking to journalists at the Mombasa ASK Show on Friday, the commission's CEO George Ooko said the county can increase its revenue because of the tourism industry, the port and other industries available. “There are many things that Mombasa can put its focus on to increase its revenue,” he said.
