Police in Nakuru yesterday shot dead two suspected highway robbers and recovered an AK47 rifle that they believe has been used in a series of robberies. The two were part of a five man gang that was involved in a shoot out with the police at Mabruk area on the Nakuru Nairobi highway at 11pm. According to Nakuru police boss Muinde Kioko, the five men were accosted by police, who had laid an ambush on the highway.
