NYERI senator aspirant Mutahi Kagwe has promised to improve roads in the county if elected. Kagwe, who is vying for the seat on a Narc ticket, said his first priority is to ensure that the poor roads in Kieni East and West districts are improved. Speaking during a campaign rally yesterday, the former Cabinet minister said agricultural goods rot in farms due to lack of good roads to enable them reach the market. “Good roads will enable us transport our goods to the markets for sale. We need irrigation water for agriculture,” he told a rally in the Charity area.
