ANXIETY has gripped striking nurses after some of their colleagues at the Coast Provincial General Hospital were issued with sacking letters for absconding duties. A representative at the hospital Peter Maroko said some nurses have been intimated with transfer letters to hardship areas and others demoted. He said he has received 54 letters, 10 transfer and demotion letters on allegation that the hospital incited nurses to join the strike.
