A former CDF official from Ngong town was yesterday charged before a Kibera court with assaulting his son. Joseph Wainana, 62, denied stabbing his 27-year-old son Christopher Wainaina in the chest and forehead on December 30. Through lawyer J. Githuku, Wainaina applied to be released on reasonable bail terms and to be supplied with all the witness statements. The prosecution however objected to the application saying Christopher is still admitted in hospital in serious conditions...
