Court keeps man in jail over sodomy

The High Court in Mombasa on Friday upheld a twenty-year jail term penalty against a man charged with sodomy. In his ruling Justice Martin Muya said the evidence proved John Mdeme Emmanuel sexually abused the three-year-old boy. He was accused of committing the offence on December 12 at Matkau in Taita Taveta. Muya said although Emmanuel denied the offense, he admitted that the boy used to visit him.
