THE International Criminal Court has given Deputy President William Ruto a one week adjournment to allow him to return to Kenya after the Westgate attack. During the election campaign, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto had assured the nation that being on trial at the Hague would not disrupt their stewardship of the country. And since their election in March, they have repeatedly assured the international community that they will continue to cooperate with the ICC, including attending their trials in the Hague when advise to do so.
