Some 14 schools destroyed by floods and mudslides in Keiyo and Baringo will not re-open on Monday. Rivers Perkera and Molo burst their banks and destroyed several homes and government institutions including the schools. Keiyo South DC Arthur Bunde however said the government has deployed engineers to asses the damage and begin repairs. Some 400 children have been affected.
