Don calls for radical action to end carnage

THE chairman of Kenyatta University Council, Ratemo Michieka has called for action to reduce road accidents. Michieka called for stiffer penalties and attitude change to restore sanity on the roads. Studies show that more than 70 per cent of carnages are as a result of careless speeding, with drunkenness and poor road infrastructure being attributed to the worrying trend.
