Individuals who were tortured, detained or put to forced labour during the Mau Mau regime have until April 30, 2014 to register their claims. According to Tandem Law, a firm that has been representing Mau Mau victims in the Kenyan Emergency Group Litigation in the High Court of England and Wales, the registrations will lead to establishment of a group register where details of the claims will be entered so they can be represented in seeking for justice in the UK courts.
