Turkana sued over budget proposals

A man has moved to court seeking to bar the Controller of Budget from approving the amended Budget prepared by the Turkana county executive. Pius Atok argues that the altered budget estimates were not approved by the county assembly. He says that Governor Josephat Nanok will implement the altered budget submitted to the office of the controller of budget by the Turkana county executive against the will of Turkana residents.
