Eleven farmers were yesterday fined Sh5,000 or serve two months jail terms each by an Embu court for hawking milk. The 11 were arrested when police and the Kenya Dairy board cracked down on unlicensed milk transporters and sellers. The board officers reinforced by police arrested the farmers with more than 1,000 litres of fresh milk, which they were to supply to various hotels and homes.
