THE Mombasa county government has identified a site for a new sewerage treatment plant. Environment executive Fatma Awale yesterday said a three-acre plot has been acquired near the Nyali quarry for the project. Speaking to the Ttar on phone, Awale said rising population has increased pressure on old sewer system. On Wednesday the county government announced that a German company will rehabilitate the the Tudor sewerage plant at a cost Sh50 million.
