PARENTS and teachers of Visa Oshwal Primary School were in a celebratory mood yesterday after government reverted the school back to the City Council of Nairobi. The school was supposed to be privatised last year but parents and teachers led by chairman of the school management committee, Simon Atebe protested the move. Claiming the neighboring Oshwal community was interfering with the smooth running of the school, they marched to Lands minister, James Orengo's office and asked government to intervene and bring the standoff to an end...
