A 48-year-old farmer was yesterday charged before a Kibera court for setting his matrimonial house on fire. James Mungai denied setting fire to his wife's, Caroline Nduta's, house in Kabete on December 20. Principal magistrate Lucas Onyina released Mungai on a Sh200,000 bond and a surety of the same amount. The police are yet to establish the motive of the arson. Nduta reported that her husband had set the house on fire.The case will be heard on March 29 .
