A Kitale court yesterday remanded a man for stealing a motor vehicle. The court heard that on November 12, at Kitale Township within Trans Nzoia County, John Otieno jointly with others not in court stole a truck with an assorted goods. The goods valued at Sh3, 525,973.70 was the property of William Kungu. Otieno appeared before chief magistrate Maxwell Gicheru and denied the charges. He was released on Sh1 million bond with the surity of similar amount but got remanded after he was unable to raise the bond. The case will be heard on February 5.
