Men in Kitui have been hailed for taking up training in Early Childhood Development Education teaching. Kitui Deputy Governor Peninah Malonzo said it is encouraging that out of the 500 ECDE teachers’ positions advertised recently by the county government, a significant number of those who expressed interests were men. She said the change of attitude by men to warm up to a career that over the years has been viewed as the preserve for women is commendable.
