A former military officer has been awarded more than Sh8 million as compensation. Ezra Imaana Kaibuta was dismissed from the force six years ago. High Court judge Nduma Nderi said the military should preserve all the rights of Ezra Imaana Kaibuta and treat him as a retired officer. The award includes payment of Sh7 million for the loss of his commission and career and advancement at the military and Sh1.2 million for compensation for unlawful and unfair termination of his services.
