Police in Rongo are yet to arrest youth who stoned Public Services minister Dalmas Otieno's motorcade because he did not report the incident. The youth hurled stones at the motorcade smashing windscreens and side mirrors at Cham Gi Wadu centre The Rongo MP was not hurt as he had left the function earlier. Police chief Hassan Saladdi said they are not pursuing the case because the minister’s campaign team is yet to officially report the incident. He, however, added that the police are vigilant to prevent chaos during campaigns. Otieno's son, Fred Otieno, is running for Migori governor.
