Isiolo-Marsabit highway kills more wildlife as residents ask for speedbumps

The recently upgraded Isiolo-Marsabit highway has become a death trap for wildlife which use it on a regular basis. The rampant loss of animals triggered a stakeholders meeting led by Shivani Bhalla of Ewaso Lions and Letoiye Daniel of Westgate Conservancy. They met yesterday to address the issue and compile data which is to be presented to KWS and Kenya National Highways Authority director general.
