Hundreds of passengers were yesterday stranded on their way to Isiolo after the police enforced the new traffic rules. Some of the passengers traveling in trucks from Merti, Moyale and Marsabit were arrested for violating the traffic rules. Several drivers and conductors were locked up at the Isiolo police station for flouting the rules. Students were forced to cut short their journey after news went round that some of their friends were arrested for perching on top of trucks.
