THE Central Bank will auction five-year and 20-year Treasury bonds, worth Sh15 billion in January, traders said on Wednesday. Chris Muiga, interim vice-chairman of the Kenya Bond Traders' Association and Cynthia Mathenge, a trader at Commercial Bank of Africa confirmed the re-opening of the two bonds. At the last sale of the five-year bond in July, its weighted yield rose to 13.548 percent from 11.855 percent in May. Yields on the 20-year fell to 13.540 percent at its last auction in November, from 14.822 percent previously.
